To provide staff sufficiently trainied and motivated to provide leadership and training to students, other family members and community they live in. Program Description: The University of Goroka was an important institution of the nation which was established to train teachers for secondary level teaching to meet the nations teaching human resource requirements. The College trained national to replace Australians and other nationals teaching in national and provincial high schools. Since its foundation the University has produced teachers with Diplomas after two years of training and institution filled the immediate need of the nation very well. More recently the College has upgraded to a University level to provide degrees and masters level graduands.
